Chiropractic is a natural and hands-on approach to health care that works with the healing power of the body. As Chiropractors, we understand that the nervous system controls every other system in the body. Physical, chemical and emotional stressors can produce an imbalance in your nervous system and spine. We provide fast, gentle and specific adjustments to the spine, to aid in restoring natural movement and function to the spine and remove any interference in your nervous system, enabling you to function pain-free and live life to the fullest.
By restoring proper spinal and nervous system function, Chiropractors help people reach and maintain optimal health and wellbeing.
Health is an inside job – a body that moves well functions well.
No, you don’t need a doctor’s referral – you can come directly to us! If your injury or pain is the result of an accident, your care may well be subsidised by ACC. Talk with one of the Chiropractors in your next visit to find out if you’re eligible and what the process involves.
We are also ACC registered meaning if you’ve had an injury within the last 6 months you may be able to use ACC.
We currently only work with ACC. You will need to personally contact your health insurance provider to find out if they cover Chiropractic Care and what processes are involved to be reimbursed.
Chiropractic care is about supporting the body’s natural ability to heal, adapt, and function at its best. Rather than treating or curing specific conditions, chiropractic helps reduce interference in the spine that can affect the nervous system. When the nervous system is able to communicate freely, the body can better regulate itself, recover from stress or injury, and maintain overall health and well-being. Regular chiropractic check-ups can help ensure your nervous system is balanced and functioning optimally. While many people notice positive changes, It’s important to note that results may vary and there is no guarantee that chiropractic will help with a specific problem.
This being said, below is a list of some of the most common reasons people seek chiropractic care outside of wellness care:
Back Pain: Lower back pain, upper back pain, and spinal discomfort.
Neck Pain: Tension, stiffness, and injuries.
Headaches: Tension headaches and migraines.
Sciatica: Pain radiating down the leg due to nerve compression.
Joint Pain: Pain in the shoulders, hips, knees, and other joints.
Sports Injuries: Sprains, strains, and other injuries related to physical activity.
Posture Issues: Alignment problems that can lead to discomfort.
Concussion & Whiplash: Injuries from car accidents or falls.
Spinal disc injury: Disc issues that may cause pain and neurological symptoms.
This will vary with each person, depending on how long you have had the problem, your previous health history, any trauma or accidents and many other factors. After the chiropractor has performed an assessment, they will be able to tell you how frequently you need care. It may be starting with two visits a week initially and continue for a number of weeks, or less frequently depending on the above factors. Many of our people continue with chiropractic care to maintain general wellness and improved quality of life.
There are many different types and diverse techniques of chiropractic our chiropractors are trained in. We use gentle, safe adjustments and we can avoid the “cracking noise.” We cater for your individual needs and have gentle methods for your comfort.
Chiropractic is for everybody!
Whether you are a baby, a child, a pregnant mum, an athlete or a senior, the role of a family chiropractor is to address nerve interference in you.
